Social Media Usage – a reminder for all Volunteers
Most of you will know that Girlguiding have a social media policy (was updated Jan 2026). It is really important you and your unit follow this policy to keep everyone safe.
As well as this all unit leaders should regularly be checking Go and make sure photo permissions are accurate and follow this (and make sure your other volunteers who they can and can’t take photos of).
The default is “do not take photos”. You must follow what it says until you have confirmation saying otherwise.
As the PR Advisor I cannot access this info so rely on others to have checked this before sending photos to me please.
